Given the recent cuts to arts and culture funding in this province, many local facilities have increased their rates for short term rentals making the cost of renting meeting rooms prohibitive for our unfunded group. For example, one of the rooms we often used has increased its fee from $40 to $85!
We have set up a GoFundMe campaign to raise enough money to cover the rental of meeting rooms for the upcoming season.
